KUCCPS staff joins thousands of runners for the benefit of future generations

NAIROBI, October 28, 2019

A bright Sunday morning it was. The rains of the previous night had subsided by dawn as thousands of Kenyans trooped to the Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi, where the races in the Nairobi International Marathon were starting.

The staff of the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) participated in the marathon on the October 27, 2019 joined the run, inspired by the call to open opportunities for the next generation.

A corporate social investment (CSI) activity, the annual marathon seeks to raise funds toward the Future Makers Initiative, a programme spearheaded by the Standard Chartered Bank to open opportunities for the next generation to learn, earn and grow.

The marathon was fun filled, given the good weather conditions, and helped the KUCCPS staff to foster team besides running for a reason.
