The main aim of the career fair was to put more emphasis on the new trends in the placement service and to create awareness of the placement importance, functions and its policy amongst the Kiambu community, schools and the students.

The program started at around 9:30 am with opening remarks from the Principal Kiambu High School. Thereafter the session began by a motivational speaker Mrs Mercy who talked majorly on exploring careers and career choices.

Then the chief guest Mrs. Monica Ng’ang’a from KUCCPS was welcomed on the podium by the students, invited guests and the participants to give out the key note address on the new trends in the placement of students in Universities and Colleges.

After a key note address, we broke out for lunch then later on the information desk was set up for students to visit various institutional tents for interactive sessions whereby we at the KUCCPS received students who came to inquire more about the KUCCPS after listening to the guest speaker. The students engaged us with a lot of questions concerning the placement service for instance most of them were eager to know the criteria used to place the students, the requirements, the process of placement and occasions which the placement takes place. After thorough interactions with the students we were rest assured the visiting students understood the meaning of KUCCPS and its functions thoroughly.
