Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service has registered an improvement in productivity score, attaining Productivity Index of 4.4 (Excellent) in 2024/2025 from 3.23 (Very High) in 2023/2024.
Productivity Index is a score derived from an organisation’s performance in various defined metrics covering delivery of its core services, innovation, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction among other parameters. The metrics are developed and measured with the guidance of the National Productivity and Competitiveness Centre under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, and is an annual activity in the Public Service. The highest possible attainable Productivity Index is 5.
This week, KUCCPS Productivity Committee, led by Chairperson and Director, Corporate Services CPA Christine Mwaka, together with officers from the National Productivity and Competitiveness Centre, have been validating the institution’s productivity data for the 2024/2025 performance cycle.
The result? KUCCPS has achieved an outstanding Productivity Index of 4.4, rated as "Excellent". This is a significant leap from our 2023/2024 score of 3.23, which was already a "Very High Productivity" rating. Further, the team has developed a forward-thinking Productivity Improvement Strategy to drive even greater efficiency and impact in the coming year.
This achievement underscores our commitment to excellence in public service and continuous improvement, driven by our Focus on Citizens.
We congratulate the KUCCPS team for a job well done.
