KUCCPS Career Guide To Hit Bookstores Across Kenya

NAIROBI, Tuesday, October 8, 2019

The new career guide by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) is now set for distribution and sale to major bookshops across Kenya. This follows the signing of a marketing and distribution agreement between KUCCPS and the Kenya Literature Bureau (KLB) on Tuesday, October 8, 2019.

KUCCPS Chief Executive Officer Dr. John Muraguri and KLB Managing Director Mr. Victor Lomaria put the pen to paper at the KLB offices in Nairobi, giving KLB the exclusive right to market, promote and sell the career book on behalf of the Placement Service. Using its wide distribution network, KLB will ensure that the career book gets to students, parents, teachers and guardians in all parts of Kenya.

Speaking during the signing, Dr. Muraguri and Mr. Lomaria reiterated the commitment of the two Government agencies to periodically update the career guide through editions based on consumer feedback.

The career guide titled The Essential Career Guide: Making an Informed Choice, the first of its kind, provides important insights on career planning, subject and course selection, career paths, higher education funding opportunities, accredited training institutions and skills for the 21st Century work place, among others.

We have plans to have a digital copy on select eBooks platforms for easier access.
