Murang’a University of Technology Career Day 2018

The Placement Service participated in the Murang’a University of Technology Career Day on March 24, 2018. The event was attended by the Murang’a University staff, Co-operative Bank officials and seven secondary schools invited from Murang’a County.

The career forum was organised to give students a chance to interact with the university staff, receive career guidance and apply for courses offered by the institutions, while the Placement Service was invited to provide career guidance.

Representatives of the Placement Service held interactive sessions with the students; giving insights on the functions of the agency and the criteria for placement, among other useful career information.

Murang’a University of Technology is the successor of Murang’a University College, a former constituent college of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, and Murang’a College of Technology (MCT) based in Murang’a County. The university is located 1.5 km from Murang’a Town in central Kenya.
